Enviromental
At OarTech, We source our:
Wooden products, from a workplace in South Auckland. They're old sleeper separators, which they'd usually throw in the bin without a proper use for them.
Our Packaging, made from cardboard from the hostel of HBHS, which again is usually in the bin. We use no such plastic or harmful materials in the packaging
Cultural
Cultural practices are an important part of our work at OarTech. We want our products to reflect the unique cultures around the world, and we do this by sourcing materials from local businesses and implementing any design onto the products. From Maori patterns to club colours. We focus not only on specific cultures, but also the rowing culture created through differing clubs and schools

We discovered problems over our years of rowing, so we sought to make solutions. Our innovative products help the lives of many rowing enthusiasts, over their countless hours of training. We aim, in our success, to help smaller schools and clubs with their experiences of rowing by offering our product to them.
